Following reports that beloved 'Dirty Dancing' star Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, media outlets are reporting that the actor has succesfully undergone at least three chemotherapy sessions--with no radiation--and that he is doing well under the circumstances. He has suffered none of the chemo side effects that are typically present, most notably hair loss.

Meanwhile, everyone from Jennifer Grey to Whoppi Goldberg has shown support for the actor and his wife of over 30 years, sometime-actress Lisa Niemi. And in case you've missed it, there now isn't a day of the week where you won't find either 'Dirty Dancing' or 'Road House' playing on tee-vee. And, if Patrick didn't hate the whole "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" line enough before this (which he did, with a passion) well, kids, he must be despising it now, because there is not a ONE journalist, blogger, or celebrity --I mean not a one!-- that has not used some variable of that line in SOME part of an article referring to his battle.

Pancreatic cancer has a very low survival rate, but...well, you've seen 'Road House', people. I don't think I have to tell you that Patrick's not going out without kicking someone's ass, breaking a table, throwing something or someone though a window and all while looking totally hot. Man, Swayze's gonna be aaaalright.
